Our websites, products and services are primarily intended for adults. To protect our websites and forms — including our mailing-list sign-up — from automated abuse and spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Turnstile runs invisibly in the background: you are not asked to complete a checkbox or a visual puzzle, and you will not see a widget or any other indication that a check is in progress.
To perform this check, Cloudflare collects your IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, and the site key and associated origin of the page, together with signals about your browser environment. Cloudflare acts as our data processor for the purpose of securing our websites, and as an independent data controller for the purpose of improving Turnstile’s bot-detection capabilities, on the basis of its legitimate interests. Cloudflare states that the purpose of collecting this data is not to identify, profile or target individuals, but solely to detect and block bots.
We carry out this processing because it is necessary for the security of our services and for our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse.

Our operations span across countries and regions. We may transfer your personal information across borders where this is required by law, where it is necessary to perform our contract with you, where it is necessary for our legitimate interests — including the security of our services and the prevention of fraud and abuse — or where you have consented. On this basis we may provide your personal information to our affiliates in other countries and to third-party service providers, including Cloudflare, Inc., for processing for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Wherever we transfer, store or process your personal information, we will take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, which may include enforcing standard contractual terms recognized by law, obtaining your consent, data anonymization or other lawful means of transferring personal data. Where we transfer your personal information to a service provider located in another country — including to Cloudflare, Inc. in the United States — we enter into a data processing agreement with that provider requiring it to maintain data protection measures equivalent to those required under applicable law, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) of Japan, and we take reasonable steps, including contractual obligations and periodic reviews, to supervise its ongoing compliance with those obligations.

If we revise our Privacy Policy, we will post the most recent version of it on our products, website, or in other ways that comply with applicable law. If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy and applicable law requires it, we will obtain your consent.
